World Video Formats

The PAL standard can be viewed in most European countries with the exception of France and a few other countries - who use the SECAM format. The NTSC Formats can be viewed in the majority of countries world-wide   Please see list to find out which format you need.

European countries, New Zealand and Australia and New Zealand are capable of playing both the Pal and NTSC Format. Those countries that use the NTSC format were unable to play the Pal format, so I was pleased to hear that one of our Pal Format DVDs was also able to be played in America which uses the NTSC format, suggesting that many modern DVD players should now play both the NTSC and Pal Format..................... I was rather surprised when I received the following feedback for the "Living a New Zealand Lifestyle (2 DVD set); I had informed Bendicto that he would probably only be able to play the DVD on his computer. He replied very quickly with the response................................. "The set of DVDs arrived today, and they work, they work, they work on my DVD player. This is so great. Your DVDS are a work of professionals;  amazing videos; helpful annotation. I am very impressed. Thanks for sending them. Keep up the great job". Benedicto USA

If your country uses the NTSC format, we would suggest that you check your DVD Player manual to see if it is capable of playing the Pal Format also.
